David arrived in Brasov on 10th of
August - no pictures prior to this date as I didn't have a camera. A
pity though, as I did a lot of changes in the house, new ceramic in
the kitchen, new PVC windows, new furniture, huge struggle with the
gas company to get the approvals to operate the new heating system.
And all that walls repairing and awful cleaning after the painters
left. The weather was extremely hot all the time, (that's good if
you need to loose some extra kilos), so the only choice was Poiana
or Tampa after David's arrival. A weekend at the Mud Volcanoes, a
couple of 'bears' viewings in the night, a bit of climbing in the Seven Stairs
Canion then a 4 days escape in Apuseni Mountains. This trip was
really nice so it's worth seeing the photos. Return in Brasov,
another weekend in Poiana with a return through Rasnov. In
the same evening Joanna was 'delivered' to Brasov by grandpa by train,
summer holiday is over, return to England. When I write this it's
actually summer 2005 and another four weeks to go till the next
holiday in Romania - which is not bad at all considering...
